The following announcement addresses some fun announcements, changes to pricing, scheduling for 2025, and outlooks to the future.

I hope this message finds you and your furry family members well! I’m reaching out to share some exciting updates about our services and to express my heartfelt gratitude for your continued trust in caring for your beloved pets.

First, I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve recently become Fear Free Certified!


When I started this business, the dogs having a positive experience has always been at the forefront. This specialized certification reflects my commitment to providing the gentlest, most stress-free grooming experience possible for your dogs. Fear Free techniques focus on reducing anxiety and creating positive associations with grooming, which is especially beneficial for nervous or sensitive pets. This certification adds to my expertise in behavior modification and reinforces my dedication to your dog’s emotional wellbeing alongside their physical care.

Pricing Updates

Like many of you have experienced in your own lives, the past few years have brought significant economic changes. The costs of premium grooming products, specialized equipment maintenance, continuing education, and essential supplies have increased substantially. Despite these rising costs, I’ve tried to absorb these increases for as long as possible because I value our relationship so much. However, to continue providing the level of personalized care your pets deserve and to maintain the sustainable, one-on-one service model that allows me to give each pet my full attention, this adjustment has become necessary.

As we move into 2025, I’ve carefully evaluated my service structure to ensure I can continue providing the premium, personalized care your dogs deserve. My all-inclusive approach means every service includes premium products specifically chosen for your dog’s needs, with no hidden costs or upgrade fees. Here’s what sets our service apart:

Comprehensive Care Package (included in every visit):

  • One-on-one, undivided attention throughout the entire session
  • Fear Free certified handling techniques
  • Premium, high-quality shampoos and products tailored to your dog’s coat and skin type
  • Behavior modification techniques when needed
  • Detailed coat and skin assessment
  • Everything your dog needs, they get, performed at my best capabilities
  • Stress-free, quiet home environment (vs. busy salon atmosphere)
  • Post-groom follow-up and care recommendations

To maintain this level of service and align with current market values in our area, I will be adjusting my pricing structure effective January 1, 2025. The new rates will be:

  • Bath Service Base Price: $80 for the first hour
  • Bath + Haircut Service Base Price: $125 for the first hour and a half
  • Hourly Rate: $80 for any additional time (bigger dogs, longer/difficult coats, complex haircuts, behavior, training, etc. would require more time)

These new rates reflect both economic realities and the true value of the premium service you receive, while remaining competitive within the market. (Reminder, one-on-one grooming + cooperative care/behavior modification, along with the tailored all-inclusive nature are luxury services in dog grooming.) When considering the included services that other facilities charge extra for, my all-inclusive pricing actually represents a significant value.

I understand this is a significant change, so please enjoy 15% off your first appointment at this new rate!

I’m also excited to introduce two new programs to show my appreciation for your loyalty:


Enhanced Referral Program: Receive $15 when you refer a new client who books and completes their appointment
New Loyalty Program: Earn $10 off every 6th grooming appointment (per appointment, not per dog)

I have some other complimentary bonuses coming that will be free to clients, but they will be a surprise and I will announce when they have been launched.

Scheduling

For 2025 I will be changing my schedule.
Appointment availability will be on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays only.

To book, please text me which days and times that work for you as per usual.

I do highly recommend prebooking if you can, and we can make changes later if need be. I can do every even numbered week: 2, 4, 6, or 8 week schedules (note, 8 weeks is only if they are well maintained at home, or easy to maintain breeds to keep appointments times shorter).

Reminder that keeping your dog on a schedule gets them used to the grooming process, as they are creatures of routine and habit, and it keeps the time on the table short and sweet for them = happier dog, less to be stressed about, less fussing.

Future Plans

I am currently working on creating a knowledge base of sorts for you all and as many dog owners as I can reach to help care for dogs at home with guided expertise. This will be in the form of blog posts on my website, social media posts (hello, time to be active on Instagram!), YouTube videos, ebooks, and possibly courses.

Dogs are a special part of our lives and I would like to help others make the most of their lives with their dogs. As someone who knows more than the average person as well as has professional experience, I feel like I’m in the position to aid as much as possible.

That’s not to say I know everything! This year I am going to be working towards becoming a certified dog trainer, esthetician, as well as gain certification on the expert care of senior dogs.

There is always so much to learn and I am always greedy for knowledge so that I can better serve your pets! And of course, I will share everything I know with you all! <3

For those of you who’ve been with me since the beginning, you know how much I love what I do, and how committed I am to making each grooming session a positive experience for your pets.

These adjustment will help ensure I can continue providing the thorough, patient, and loving care that your furry family members have come to expect.
All appointments scheduled before January 1st will be honored at the current rate. I understand that any price change can impact family budgets, which is why I wanted to provide advance notice.

I cannot express enough how much I appreciate your understanding and continued trust. Your support has meant everything to me as I’ve built this business, and I look forward to many more years of caring for your precious pets.
